Cleaning Your Record
There are two different ways to clean your criminal record. One is Expunction and the other is Non-Disclosure.
Expunction is an order to every law enforcement agency to destroy all files related to your arrest. They would actually commit a criminal offense if they did not destroy everything. If you receive an expunction it is as if your arrest and legal problems never occurred. If asked if you have ever been arrested your answer will be ,“No”
Even if you are not eligible for expunction, you may still be eligible for Non-Disclosure. If you receive Non-Disclosure then your records are not destroyed by the government… but they will not disclose any information to anyone outside of government.
If you receive either an expunction or non-disclosure it can help improve your chances of getting a job, car loan, promotion, qualifying for a mortgage etc… If you have had problems in your past which are holding you back, personally or professionally, call us at 210-222-1200 and see if we can help you get your life back on track.
